B-TECH IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Mechanical Engineering field requires an understanding of core areas including Machines, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Material Science, Structural Analysis and Electricity. In addition to these core principals, mechanical engineers use tools such as computer aided design(CAD), and product life cycle management to design and analyze manufacturing plants, industrial equipments and machinery, heating and cooling system, transport system, robotics, and others. It is the branch of engineering that involves the design, production and operation of machinery. Mechanical engineering emerged as a field during the industrial reduction in Europe in the 18th century.

SCOPE AND CAREER PROSPECTS

Students can start their own business, training centers, raw material warehouse etc. Many students can go for M.Tech. after B.Tech. Course. Students may go for various Govt. competition exams after B.Tech. such as Air Force, Indian Army, CDS, IAS, SSC-CGL, Railway also. Students can choose to get jobs in their core program in various private companies. Job opportunities are available for ME graduates in Government as well as private sector.
